TYPO3 Certification Key Facts
The TYPO3 Association offers four certifications tailored to your role and expertise. TYPO3 CMS Certified Consultant (TCCC), Developer (TCCD), Editor (TCCE), and Integrator (TCCI). By passing the challenging exams, candidates prove they have the knowledge and skills to work with, set up, configure, and/or develop TYPO3 web sites and applications.
Thanks to a collaboration between t3rrific.com and independent members of the TYPO3 Education Committee, we are more than happy to give you an insight into the certification process. Let's shed some light on the exams' key facts before sharing some selected example questions.
Certification Exams
TYPO3 certification exams consist of multiple choice questions. One or more answers are correct. To make the test easier for candidates, the number of correct answers is given as an hint. Candidates have to select all correct answers. Otherwise the entire question is considered incorrectly answered.
TYPO3 Education Committee
The TYPO3 Association in cooperation with the TYPO3 GmbH offer the four TYPO3 certifications. Organized in four "task forces", subject matter experts (SME) develop the exam questions and answers.
Task forces are sub-groups of the TYPO3 Education Committee. Each question goes through a strict review process before it is added to the question pool and may eventually appear in a TYPO3 certification exam.
Example Questions' Origin
It is important to understand that the example questions on this website are not the original questions from the TYPO3 exams. Publishing the original questions would violate the non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and is strictly prohibited.
TCCI (Integrator) and TCCD (Developer)
Michael Schams has kindly provided the example questions for the TCCI and TCCD quizzes. Michael is a member of the TYPO3 Education Committee and the author of the well-known TCCI and TCCD study guides.
TCCC (Consultant)
The authors of the TCCC study guide have agreed to use some of the example questions from their eBook. Thanks for your support, Peter Pröll, Marc Willmann, Andreas Wolf, and Boris Hinzer.
TCCE (Editor)
